I can't speak for anyone else but yes, I believe that Christ's reign began when He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. (Colossians 2:15). I further believe that ultimately all the kings of the Earth will submit to His Lordship. Contra Hitch's description, I believe that once Satan has been released to "deceive the nations" and to make open war on the saints, Christ will then come to destroy him and consummate his reign (the final defeat of death etc.). I don't believe in some sort of gnostic disembodied existence, my hope is in a resurrection to a glorified material body on a fully restored earth (for God so loved the WORLD after all).

This does not conflict with my position, I was making reference to any sort of 1,000 year personal (bodily) reign of Christ as per premillennialism. The resurrection of mankind, at Christ's return, is ample evidence of some sort of bodily existence in the eternal state, and ,as you pointed out, the earth was made for men to live on, so it may very well be the locus of our eternity. If that is the case Christ would be physically present but time would not be the factor it is now.
