I'm only a sophemore in highschool, but I know I'm called to the ministry. There has never been a time in my life that I went from wanting to be a cowboy to a fire-fighter to an astronaut back to a fire-fighter; I have always wanted to be- and tried to live like- a Pastor. My place in the Body of Christ is definately as a servant of the congregation and overseer of the flock. One problem: I have no idea what I'm supposed to do! A priest/ pastor is one before he gets the title, but the title (degree) is necessary for my becoming a (legal) Pastor.
I'm not specifying my denomination (or lack thereof) so I can get a wider scope of advice, but please, I really am serious about where I'm taking my life, so only give me advice if you are a priest/pastor or know the process accurattely.

God Bless you all, you're in my prayers...

Well Deis. I am in a similar situation although I am long long past being a sophomore in either high school or college.
I havent a magic answer for you brother. I will, however, attempt to give you some general pointers that apply to anyone seeking service in God's kingdom regardless of position.
1. When you let people know you are called, you will be pushes (even pressured) into going to a certain college.
2. When you let people know, they will be keeping that ever "critical" eye on you to make sure you dont get too sweet on a young lady or dont do anything to 'botch' up your chances of being successful.
3. When you let people know, your pressure will be off your shoulders and the pressure from everyone else will replace it.
4. Satan will attempt to prevent your success by tempting you to accept second best in colleges, in a wife, in true doctrine.

That said, your answer to the call to the ministry is to GOD. It is not to man. Despite your age you can answer that call. Your call is between you and God. Seek God's Word and secondly, seek Godly counsel. Find a pastor to which you feel comfortable talking to and discuss this with him in private.

Hope this helps.

Here is another pointer.

Going to college for ministry doesn't mean squat. Don't let any one pressure you into any college. If you feel God leading you thats fine but I know great ministers of the Word and they didn't attend anything.

I myself don't plan to. I'm studying under the Pastor of my church.

ShaunJ: Good going. Good choice. Discipleship / Apprenticship would be my recommendation also. I think we need more of that type training.
I know few colleges that follow the true teachings and I went 5.5 years to one such college. If you decide on college, I recommend your starting now to seek a good school. Dont take an school ensemble's word for it. Search it out. Find out their structure, their doctrine but mostly seek God's wisdome.
Good luck Deies and Great point Shaun.
(pardon spelling errors. i didnt major in english or grammar lol)
