  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've played the demos for both C&C and SC and I have to say I've noticed a definate difference

I had really high hopes for SC, it looked great in the previews, the reviews were good.....but theres just one problem. It wasnt really that good. Half the screen was taken up by the command bar, the camera angles were awkward, the story was...strange to say the least, the graphics were good, but not stellar. Overall I was very disapointed.

C&C was a whole different story. The storyline isnt terribly original but the gameplay was fast paced and interesting and the live-acting from people who could actually ACT was a refreshing change (Jennifer Morrison HAAAAWWWT!!! :D). The demo map was kinda small and didnt allow for much variation on tactics, but the game itself looked great. Only real problem I saw was that the two sides seemed a little un-balanced, NOD seems a bit stronger than GDI (Having played both) in C&C 3

I am DEFINATELY going for C&C when I can afford it.
