Thanks in advance for answering?

I was wondering how the Byzantine Catholic rite developed after the initial schism? I read some areas remained Orthodox after the schism for hundreds of years but broke away over time, as if defecting, even after the reformation. Since the aesthetics are similar to Orthodox I was wondering if the liturgy is similar?

they were Orthodox after the Schism, they came into communion at the union of Brest, and were allowed to retain the Eastern Rite.

Thank you. Do you know if the liturgy is still Orthodox or did they have to change it? I remember it's being very different from RCC.
