Has anyone heard of this band?? They're really good, i found their cd in a back shelf at a Wesley Owen shop and i really like their muscic and wonder if anyone else has heard any of their music??

I like By the Tree. I would like to see them in concert, but they haven't played near me before.

These guys are from my hometown of Ft. Worth, Texas. Well, let me restate that. Chuck Dennie is from the Ft. Worth area. Anyway, I was a fan of them "back in the day" before they got signed.
Having said that, if you like their newest disc (which isn't really all that good, IMO) go get their major-label debut, "Invade My Soul". That's a good album- their best, actually- and it features the other founding member, Kevin Rhoads, who has since left the band.
Kevin leaving ruined them for me. He added a "different" quality to the band. I suppose you'd have had to see them live to know exactly what I'm talking about, but I think if you listen to "Invade My Soul", you'll agree it's their best.
They've released three albums since then: "These Days", which, IMO, sucked. Then "Root", which was decent, and "Hold You High", which doesn't suck, but is marginal at best.
Anyway, that's the two cents of an old-school BTT fan...

i've got These days, and am finding it hard to gethold of any others. Would be really cool to see them in concert but i doubt they would do any in England.
