  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

As a Christian, there are certain issues that can make it impossible to vote for a Rep. or a Dem. is they support those issues.

There are some politians out there who are NOT Christian, but believe in the issues that are important to me. So I as a Christian [Pastor] could vote for a non-Christian--NO, I DID NOT VOTE FOR BUSH BECAUSE HE WAS A CHRISTIAN.

I voted Bush because of a combination of two factors: his opponents would have been worse options than him in my opinion. And the abortion issue. I have been a one issue voter for many years now, I can not bring myself to vote for mass-murderers or those who support them.

I am getting to the point where I am seriously considering voting democrat now. Economically I am a socialist. I will never vote for Hillary, but if someone like Barak Obama wins the nomination I will have a decision to make. I do think that liberals are worse for the courts, and that is a problem. And I have an exceedingly, exceptionally hard time seeing myself vote for anyone who is pro-choice. But I also think that the Republicans are as big of crooks as the Dems, and I think we need some changes made in this country.

So I don't know what I'll do in the future yet ... but no, I never voted for anyone because they were "a Christian".

do people vote for bush beacuse he is a christian? I dont realy see an insperational leader in him.
Ugh, I don't know, I never voted for him and I can't (his platform is against my values). If he were to move to end abortion, support Israel as Reagan did (Bush really seems anti-Israel), and if he denounced his efforts to push the US into the NWO, I'd might have considered voting for him. But this is not a fantasy world and he is none of those things. Why do they vote for him? Well, there are some in this country that like abortion, want to see Israel driven into the sea and would like to dissolve the US and merge into a larger country to be part of the one world order... which will be lead by the Antichrist. I'm sure the AC will seem “Christ like” as well...
Vote democrat or republican, it's the same darn thing, just a different path to get there.

Unfortunately, the state of our country seems to prevent that. If they aren't Republican or Democrat, statistically, they won't win. I would love it if we went back to what Washington wrote in his farewell address over 200 years ago, stating for us to avoid forming parties. Get rid of the Democrat/Republican/whatever labels and stand on merits alone. If that were to happen, we might start seeing more change that would genuinely reflect the concerns of the people.

It's always a choice between the lesser of evils. I notice that every 4 yrs, there isn't much of a choice for president. The 'powers to be'-illuminati, makes it that way on purpose. The voting polls are really rigged. The last election, both Bush and Kerry were "Skull and Bones' members. Skull and Bones is an occultic illuminati yale club--part of the initiation ceremonies has them drinking from a human skull, then sitting in a coffin naked and telling ones most secret sex experiences, etc. Anyway, I could say more about Skull and bones, but back to Bush, I agree, he seems very unchristian. There's even stories of him having gay sex!! To run for president, one has to have a lot of money and supporters that give them money. Most of the powerful rich are illuminati(high level satanists). Remember when Jesus was in the wilderness and tempted by the devil? The devil tempted Him with having power over the nations--this world system right now is under satan's control and will be until the LORD returns.

That is what most are conditioned to think, that there is no choice with a mentality of defeatism. I guess it's pretty much self-fulfilling though, that's what they believe so that's what they get. I don't see any fix either though, people are just too willing to grudgingly vote for someone that does not share their values and there are just too many people that have no real values to defend. Yeah, I just don't see it getting any better... though I will keep doing things the way I know are right even if some say that I am just throwing my vote away. Better than throwing my soul away I suppose. They call me heartless and un-Christian, but they will be in for a surprise one day.

Um. I may not be a fan of politicians, but you are making accusations without valid support for them. There are a lot of different stories that are spread--in person and online--that are started by those who dislike certain individuals for one reason or another. More than likely these are just lies used to make a person look worse. As a rule you probably should avoid spreading them without proof to back them up. Just my two-cents. ;)

I voted for bush but I honestly cant stand him. The only reason I did was because Kerry was a bigger idiot than bush. I think it is downright blasphemy how many (not all) christians can support bush simply because he claims to be a christian. That is downright idiocy. He is a horrible military leader and he doesnt listen to anyone.

I voted for Mr. Bush both times, and would again if it were possible.

I believe history will prove him out as it did Roosevelt and Reagan.

IMO, he is a good and decent man who is very strong in his beliefs, both political and religious. The sheer fact of the number of delusional people who outright hate him kind of reinforces the fact of how strong he really is.

God bless George Bush!
