Apologies for awakening a thread that's been dormant for half a decade, haha. I just did a keyword search and discovered it because I was curious to know what other people thought about Burning Man. Has anyone gone to it in recent years?

To answer the OP's question: It looks like fun. I'd be less concerned about being judged than maybe feeling out of place at times. You don't have participate in anything you don't want to. You also don't have to be single to go. Maybe look for a woman who is also interested in this kind of thing.
