CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm hesitant to watch this b/c every commercial seems to depict Campbell as a sidelining character, which to me is a monumental misuse of the show's greatest asset.

My wife and I just watched all 2 and a half seasons back to back. I like the show, but Michael's mother really annoys me. Is it wrong to want one of Michael's enemies to kill her? All she does is whine that Michael never tells her anything, then when he does tell her something she whines that he's always putting her in danger!
I think Michael's been living in a state of denial about his current lifestyle and it'll be interesting to see how anxious he is to return to the Agency after what happened with Fiona.

I like the main characters asides especially where he managed to convince a bunch of bank robbers he was a doctor then proceeded to make their robbery go badly wrong!

Just saw in interview in which the producers of the show revealed that Michael Weston was based on a real guy, a spy who really was "burned". There really was a Michael, a Sam, a Fiona, and a Maddie.
All of the "When you're a spy..." voice overs are based on real things.
My only problem with the show, other than that nobody can stand the new guy, is that they don't give Sam anything to do. If he was really this hot shot anti-terrorism expert and led Seal teams on covert missions, then shouldn't he be doing a little more than just pretending to be a meter reader to distract the bad guys while Michael and Fiona sneak into the house?
