  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

If you have small children I wouldn't recommend getting one, they scare easily, and kids tend to play a bit to rough..

The small breeds can have quite a bad temper, the larger ones are more in a good mood.

But they can be nice pets if you spend time with it so it gets to know you. :)
I had my bunny for almost 8 years. :)

(Mine was of a large breed, he weighed 17,6 pounds.. ^_^ )

I've had two, one when I was much young, he was just a big old lop eared bunny, don't know if he was any specific breed. I absolutely adored him and he was wonderful. He was a house rabbit and loved people, he was very much a cuddler. He died from a nasty infection, can't remember what it was exactly. The vet and my parents tried everything, but he just couldn't make it. Then a few years ago I adopted an old rabbit, he was a black and white dutch. He wasn't a big cuddler but he'd hop around and just hang out. Didn't mind being pet, but wasn't fond of being picked up. He eventually died of old age. But in my opinion, rabbits make wonderful pets, but you have to be pretty committed. They need hay, fruits & veggies in addition to their regular diet and they don't do well being kept in a cage the majority of the time. They should get at least 2 hours a day outside of their cage, more if possible. I won't personally have another rabbit until I can devote a whole room to them (rabbits can be litter trained). Most of them do like having other rabbits around, just make sure you get a big enough cage.

I can't remember the website, but check out the House Rabbit Society. They have lots of good information about rabbits and their care. Also, when you go to get a rabbit, please consider adoption. There are so many unwanted rabbits out there that need loving homes. Check out www.petfinder.org for bunnies in your area.
