  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For the first time ever ... I had to go to school today and pick up my child and bring him home for his BEHAVIOUR ... not because he was sick and throwing up or running a fever ... because he had a temper tantrum and would not calm down. :(

He's my five year old - he's in Kindergarten.

I took him to the doctor - just in case there was something physically wrong with him - which there wasn't.

Our doctor did however recommended Omega-3 oil supplements. :D

I knew this child was going to be different from his older siblings from the get-go (he's the youngest of five).

nope, still don't know what triggered it ... he has always been easily frustrated when he can't do something "right" - like when he's building with his blocks/tinker toys/LEGOS and can't get things to connect the way he wants them he gets really upset ...

I guess the honeymoon is over (now they are settling down to serious stuff in Kindergarten) and he's having to learn to deal with it ...

We are working on behavior modifications ... he brought home a "good" note from the teacher today :)
