[Citizen of the Kingdom]

What foundation are you building on?

The Master of the Universe,
as a special gift to each one of us
before we retire from our work,

to build one last piece of work
as representative
of what we have put into our job that had been given us
to perform.

As each is a master of their own talent,
utmost care should be taken.

All the work that went before was of service to the Lord.
Layer upon layer of care had gone into it
to present it
of great edification to others.

But this is a secret work.
Only God can see what is being built.

There's no pressure from without to spur on or
acculades or anger to see a work through.
Only the silence from the temple where not a sound is heard.
Unhewn rock is made into living stone,
painted with the brush of great patience and fired in the kiln
to make it last an eternity.

A poem.
A perfect masterpiece OR the unfinished mansion.
My work,
my home forever.

Built on foundations that are not demonic is quite a tricky thing. Because the false gods of Molech Mammon and Baal are very prevalient in lots of false teachings.

No, Ecclesiates say that the human function is to work.

We were talking about those who spew on others for their gain.
Knowing intent or motive isn't something easily discerned so experience ties in too, but I think it's fairly easy to know the difference.

Anyway, the topic was the poem ... and poetry should be individually interpreted so I'll not derail further.

Talents are natural abilities that have been been given to God and God 's acceptance of them are His right to use them for His purposes. He's not about being a hired hand.

It says that we all need to come to Him as children but it also says to be mature children. The purpose is to be found fit companions for His Son.
