Praying for complete healing and a speedy recovery as well as comfort in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You Lord!

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Today was my recheck with the ortho. Physically it has been very painful, but mentally even more.
My ortho says that it's probably 3-6 months before able to be working, but possibly longer.
He says that in 3-6 months my leg should be back into good enough shape to replace the knee.
The ligaments on the sides of the knee are loose and won't be stable enough for normal activity.
This requires knee replacement and more recovery time and physical therapy.
The mental aspect is worse right now. With the prospect of being out of work for another 3-6 months plus the knee replacement and recovery and the fact that when I am not back at work by February 3rd, we will be required to go onto COBRA insurance which is not affordable on disability. COBRA would not be affordable on my normal income.
So we will be losing our insurance in the middle of this knee thing.
We will be applying for Medi-Cal, so that we can still get some medical coverage if we qualify.
I don't even know if I can continue to be a mechanic at this point. And I certainly cannot expect my employer to hold my position open for 3-6 more months with no guarantee of returning.
I pray that I will have God's mercy and direction at this point of major change in my life.God's will be done. In Jesus' name I pray.
