I know that we all have disappointments in life from time to time and that things don't always happens as we would like to have them happen ... so I hope that what I am about to share with you will help you through those times and I hope it will bring a different perspective to certain events and occurances that happen in our lives.


As children bring their broken toys with tears for us to mend
I brought my broken breams to God, because he is my friend.
But then, instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone I hung around
and tried to help with ways that were my own.
At last I snatched them back and cried, "How can you be so slow?"
"My child," He said, " What could I do....you never did let go"

endure -- Thank you for your comments, some of the time when I post certtain threads , I am disappointed in the lack of interest in what I post, and I'm never really sure of how many people my thread is affecting in a positive way( which is my intention)... , so it is always nice to receive some imput/response back, so again thank you for taking the time to post your thoughts/comments.

ya know man...i know exactly how you feel.

i recently made a new thread called "can we try to do this today?" and it was about this same issue, it got like 15 veiws..but one reply...why?
i was talking about how people need to be encouraged...and they read it...but didnt even get it, becuase they didnt even say a word about it.

its just that man, lately God is showing me how to deal with a lack of appreciation and recognition. we all like to know we are appreciated sometimes...
but we also have to come to the place where peoples thankyous dont control us... we must beleive we are serving the Lord and that is all that matters...even if no one pats me on the back, tells me i did a great Job or anything... and i have to grow up, and move on to where people dont have to smile and go goo-goo at me to make me feel good, thats something babes need. ya know?
i must be confident and commited to my work becuase its for the Lord and the Lord approves of it...not becuase someone tells me im appreciated.
ill recieve it, i like it, it is comforting... but i cant depend on it man.

becuase there will be a day when you are persecuted for your words...and will you still be faithful to preach it? if you depend on a persons thanks, you wont...
ya know?
i wasnt saying that last part to discourage you, but to encourage you to go on and be greater. and do what God says for God...
and im sorry this is going so long, but i learned one more thing today.
dont ever preach and let peoples faces and actions determine how you preach, do not be in a place where you need that to preach boldly, becuase your not preaching to a person flesh, but to their spirit!
so never rely on a persons flesh...to help you preach.

seeking to please anyone else and depending on pleasing anyone else is pride...bottom line. becuase God is enough.
there are people who cant preach bodly and effectively, unless someone is cheering them on... and those people are hindered from going on to great things.
becuase there will be a day when you are persecuted for your words, and you must be faithful to the calling.

oh...i know seeing people touched is the reason this matters to you.
but sometimes no one answers the call.... like ezekiel i think said " no one has listened..."
but sometimes you gotta know that one person sows.. and another reaps...but God brings the increase... it may not be today that that person really remembers and is changed by what you said, but the seed is sown...

and sometimes you have to just know that you went where God said to go and said what God said to say...and let that be your assurance that your doing great things.
God preached to word to the isrealites for hundreds of years... but in the end..they were destroyed and they murdered their own prophets... becuase they wouldnt answer the calling.
so man, if no one comes forth and recieves what you said... it doesnt mean you didnt do your job or that you didnt do it very very well.

I thought it was great Phillip4Jesus. Thanks for posting it. I know there's things in my life I need to let go of so God can work on them. I'm just on a long road trying to figure out how.
