British Armed Forces - medics

Hey there,

I was wondering if there was anyone here in either the Royal Army Medical Corps, or the RAF Tactical Medical Wing. I'm hoping to get sponsorship from either the RAF or the Army for my medicine degree, and was wondering if anyone could give me some insights as to the life of a forces doctor?

Unfortunately, I can't give a British perspective, but I was a medic in the then South African version. It was immense fun, and a huge learning experience. Differnt cultures, different places... amazing scenery... and all of this apart from what a learnt from a medical angle.
