  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I don't recall much religious discussion at all as a child. I sort of just understood that there was a belief in God and was, in general, a Christian. I asked to go to church for a while as a kid because my friends did. My parents took me. I was pretty bored there for a while and we stopped going. I went again as a teen because of some other friends and stayed for a while again (I drove myself). During that time I started to realize that I wasn't feeling any presence out there and whatever religion I had faded away. After a (relatively) short time, I conceded to myself that I didn't believe in any deity at all and became an atheist.

Well, I collect Tinker Bell merchandise, but that's more of an obsession...

I tried to collect stamps for a week and it didn't take. I collected baseball cards for a year and then gave up. I might collect old video games at some point, because they will be harder to come by after some time (at least in the original forms). Nothing else really grabs at me to want a lot of it.

I have read a few parts of the Bible. I made it a goal a while ago to read the whole book, but I keep getting sidetracked on that goal. One day I will finish the whole book.

My favorite book is Human Beware! It's a story about a girl who is really a dragon and she is destined to lead either good or evil to victory, depending on who gets ahold of her and trains her into becoming a dragon. It's a part of a series that I read as a child but couldn't ever get ahold of the rest of the series until a couple years ago. The other books weren't as good, but I had to get them because the first one left me hanging.
