how i long for another breakthrough.. how i long to stay with God and not backslide.. how i long for all these things..

does any one out there long for a break through like me.. but hasnt gotten one?

please lord, give me a breakthrough in my life. i feel just so pathetic being like this.. please give me the strength to cope with everything in my life.

MY DEAR SISTER,

The main thing to keep in mind, i think, is that GOD WANTS THAT BREAKTHROUGH FOR YOU JUST AS MUCH AS YOU DO!

Keep the following ideas in mind:

"HE WHO DID NOT SPARE HIS OWN SON, BUT DELIVERED HIM UP FOR US ALL, HOW SHALL HE NOT WITH HIM ALSO FREELY GIVE US ALL THINGS? . . . WHO SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST? SHALL TRIBULATION, OR DISTRESS, OR PERSECUTION, OR FAMINE, OR NAKEDNESS, OR PERIL, OR SWORD?" (Romans 8:32, 35)

coupled with:

"AND BEING FULLY CONVINCED THAT WHAT HE (GOD) HAD PROMISED HE WAS ALSO ABLE TO PERFORM." (Romans 5:21)

Breakthroughs are achieved by maintaining our focus on God and trusting in His Promises to us.

The three ways of maintaining our focus on God are: #1. Prayer; #2. Reading Scriptures; #3. Through Church attendance and participation, availing ourselves of the fellowship, support and guidance of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

HAVE TRUST AND FAITH IN GOD THAT WHAT HE HAS PROMISED HE WILL DO! DO NOT BECOME DISCOURAGED AND ALLOW SATAN TO ROB YOU OF YOUR PRIZE!

I feel like that sometimes but I realised it is usually because I have my eyes fixed on everything else but Him. These could be Godly things but until we focus only on Him, yield our understanding to Him and allow Hin to mould us as he sees fit, we will still feel like something is missing, like we need this big explosive moment in our lives.
Do this, count your blessings, start with something as simple as the gift of life, the privilege of knowing Him, ... there are breakthroughs hidden in your everyday walk of obedience and surrender to Him.
Refuse to position yourself behind an obstacle, you are free in Him, live like a child, trusting him fully.
May God grant you all the desires of your heart as you delight yourself in Him.

Get out of an experiential, crisis mode of Christianity. In my natural family what sort of breakthrough do I need to know that I belong? None. I was born into it and nothing can change that. So with being in God's family.

In all good families there are some hard times, some ordinary times and some great times, but none of these times makes any real difference to the fact that I am part of the family always. Nothing has changed in God's attitudes and intentions towards you. Learn to enjoy God out of that security of family relationship rather than looking for a spiritual life on steroids.
