breaking military contracts

Maybe if they didnt treat me like I was sub human I would not have made such reference. There was nothing false about it, I was hazed and that is reality. I feel it is my responsibility to draw out the true malice that is in alot of our military, there are plenty of christians in the military but the military system does not allow there light to shine very far.

You, I'm sure, weren't treated any different than anyone else. But stop making sweeping statements about something you experienced very little of.

If you remembered I appologized about refering to the military machine itself as evil, it is select individuals within the military machine that are evil. The military destroys alot of peoples lives, I taked to NCOs when I was in the guard and not one of them was still married that speaks volumes to me, people can claim whatever they want "oh it was my own fault because..." but the statistics dont lie.

The statistics don't lie, they're like computers they say exactly what you tell them to say. Statistics can be made to say many things, it depends on the slant of the collection.

Also the families lives that are disrupted through outragious deployments because the government doesnt have the back bone to start conscription and deployment of national guard is unethical because they are signing on for one weekend a month and I learned quickly that that was a sham.

I see, you thought you could play soldier once a month and collect pay and bennies and not fullfill your contract. (Did you even read it before you signed?)

How dare you! You don't know a darn thing about our lives. We happen to be very happy living our lives. My husband LOVES serving his country and has NEVER put it above serving God. In fact this is his calling for your information. He uses it to spread the word of God to anyone in need for it. He joined WILLINGLY knowing what would go on in BCT and other training.He has re-upped WILLINGLY NO ONE is forcing us to stay in the service.

I hope your husband does not respond in similar manners to thoes in his sphere of influance that are looking to get out by giving people bible verses and preaching the good news and then switching faces to lash out in rage because God forbid someone doesnt want to be in the military. I just tell people what happened to me when I was in. All you do is renforce the evil of thoes in the military when you harbor such thoughts and it renforces what I have been saying, its like joining a cult and one day deciding you dont want to drink the kool aid.

What happened to you is the same thing that happens to everyone in boot camp. You wanted something for nothing and got caught. Deal with it.

First off you have NO clue what I think or feel about the Military. You have nothing but assumpsions about the way others acts. You are taking what happened with the very few people you had contact with and making it that it's the way the whole Military acts and you're WRONG. That is nothing but sterotyping people which is just wrong. My husband doesn't critize those who can't handle the Military, he tries to help them adjust. You obviously didn't seek any help. Also there are ways to get out if your reasons are legitimate not just because you want to and didn't get your way.

Secondly I never said the Military doesn't make mistakes but for you to blame it for everything is just ludicrist on your part. Do they force people to stay in when they signed a contract? Yes, just as any company on the outside world does when you enter one. You can't sign a contract and then just bail out on it with out repercussions for it. It's not any different then in the civilian world. Sounds like you need to get some clue as to how the real world operates.

Third, you where in the gaurd. It's not like you had to deal with being in the service everyday, every minute 365 days a year 24 hours a day. You are acting like you where so tramitized and now are going as far as to call yourself a victum. The only thing you're a victum of is your own selfishness and inablity to READ and comprehend what you where commiting to do. The only thing you're a victum of is you're own inablity to do some research and knowing what you're going into. You obviously didn't bother to find out about what you would be doing and going through during training. It's obvious that you didn't read the contract before you signed it and took your oath. To know that the Guard would be subjected to possible deployemnt and activation all one had to do is listen to the news or read a newspaper.

So he helps them adjust but not get out, and if "adjustment" is not what they want how does he deal with someone who is not motivated in a christian way?

Also for the last time I appologized for the stereotype and I accnolage that there are christians in the military, but that fact does not lagitimize the actions of the people who are evil in the military. And if you want to talk about lies, contracts in the civilian world are not the same as the military nor is employment. If I quit my job they dont have the authority to put a warrant out for my arrest.

A contract is a contract. If I sign a contract with a company to work for some many years then the only way I will get out of that without being sued is to be fired or some other form of being let go. Don;t try to tell me that it isn't the same. I unlike you haveread FULLY DOD's contract and I've entered into Civilian contracts when it comes to employment.

I really hope that you realize that you will more thank likely be given a dishonarable dischange for your basic false enlistment in the service since it's become more and more obvious that you joined with false pretences and only for the money and training and had no intention of fufilling your contract.
