Braxton Hicks Contractions?

OK, I never had these with DD. The only contractions I had was after my water broke and they were (if I remember correctly) in the big part of my belly. I am having pains way down in my pelvic area but they don't last very long. Is this possibly BH or is the baby just making me uncomfortable?

Next time you have them prod your belly a bit, if you feel that your belly is really tensed up then they're probably BH contractions, if it's normal and soft(ish) then it will be just the baby moving.

What kind of pains are they, my BH contractions have all been a bit like period pain.

More like a sharp pain than a period pain.

I never had any pain with BH contractions. For me a BH contraction is just my uterus tightening to feel hard and sometimes feeling pressure especially if my bladder is full.

Is it maybe round ligament pain? It sounds like its in the right spot, and people get that every once and a while as the uterus stretches/grows.

Well apparantly what I've been feeling is not contractions, because I had two contractions while doing the NST this morning and never had a clue.
