Brat Camp

Did anyone catch this show? It's about bad kids going to this harsh camp to get "straightened out." But what they really need is Christ. However, the show is good anyway.

yes... Its a pretty good show... I wonder if they really change at all though....

I bet it does change them. It reminds me of boot camp in the military in a lot of ways. The question is whether those changes will be enough when they go back home and the pressures which made them brats come back again.

My biggest problem is the fact that I give most of the blame to the parents for making them into brats and the parents should be at a camp too to learn to be better parents. Now that show would have some good ratings..."parent camp"

Yeah, what are you gonna do when she gets thrown in jail, pull her out of prison because it is to harsh. Give me a break. Quit babying your kids and spank them when they do something wrong!

i was only able to watch a few episodes...but i really liked what i watched!! It's sort of what i want to do when i get older...work with trobled youth...but being able to do so as well as bringing Christ into it...i kind of want to be an evanglist, that gets into the schools and talks with the students, and then have an after school thing where i can present Christ!

i think the camp probably does help them...unfortunately they don't include Jesus.

The thing is , a lot of those children are simply following a less cleaned up version of the attitudes that their parents have. The parents need to clean up their own attitudes first....then they will not have so much confusion about how to discipline.

I watch every show..I really like it..but for sure there should be some healthier alternatives for them like some Christian aspects for them to grab a hold of to help them after brat camp.
And I am sure some of the parents need some improvements in their parenting skills to balance things out for when they reunite as a family...

Those kids are being exploited, and are not necesarily recieving apropriate help with there problems. I think this is the lowest of the low so far in the world of reality television. This is worse then The Swan, or Temptation Island or any of that.
