The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Everywhere the Apostles and disciples went with the GOSPEL GOOD NEWS OF JESUS,
they threw out demons IN EVERY CITY, and they HEALED people (quite apart from demons), and they always brought the gift
of PEACE, JOY and RIGHTEOUSNESS from YHWH along with SALVATION.
This was always true. Today, not so much seen.
Still, though, seek the same in Scripture, and from YHWH. The truth, GOD SAYS, if you seek it, and keep seeking TRUTH, will set you free (brings healing and comfort and relief for our souls) ....
Trust God for all things. (not men, except after proven and tested true)

Before I was saved, I was diagnosed with PBD, and I was treated for it in therapy, but it wasn't until Jesus saved me that I was finally beginning to become free from it. He WILL help you through this, you just need to keep holding on to Him.
