Bourne Supremacy

I went and saw this movie this morning, and to be honest, I didn't think it was all that good. It was probably (comparitively) a very good spy movie, but... I dunno, I expected more out of it. I'm a fan of the books, and I was a bit disappointed that they didn't follow the books more closely, but then again I suppose you can say that about any movie. *shrug*

I didn't like the directorial style, with lots of misty flashbacks, and a very jerky kind of camera style. Not my cup of tea really.

I'd give it a 3/5...

the first movie was better. they will be making a third one. it is a book series. the third ook is called "The Bourne Ultimatum" looks good.

I know it was based on a book series, and that was one of my problems with it... the fact that the movie wasn't really a movie of the book...

Actually, there's a fourth book now, written by another author (Eric Van Lustbader) called The Bourne Legacy... but it's kind of... hmmm... I dunno.

a different author. is it the same charachters and plot? it sounds interesting...

It continues the storyline of the other books as far as I can tell, but it is some way down the track in the timeline. Eric Van Lustbader is a very accomplished author in the mystery/crime genre, it just didn't tickle my fancy from what I read of it. It just feels... different.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. Though not quite as good as the first, didn't really have as much depth. Plus the begining really hit me hard. I did not[/n] see that coming. I damn near blew Dr. Pepper out of my nose when I saw that major twist.
