Small potatoes. Very small....Buddhists - Burma ....p.
And just in the past decade, Christians (and others) have helped to kill ~ 600,000 people in Iraq alone. And this is not taking into account the 200% (?) increase in cancer rates due to WMD (oh, guess it's only WMD if it's Muslims who are alleged to have them). And this is also not taking into account all of the extreme birth defects that occurred due to the depleted uranium.
I would be shocked if any other group besides Christians yelled "For Jesus!!!" and killed Muslims and others in the Holy Land, wouldn't you?
Because you're a mind reader, right? And you KNOW what a person's intentions are.
I wouldn't. I mean, maybe not in America, but these groups have no claim of innocence either. Not by a long shot.
Buddhists - Burma
Hindus - Pakistan, Kashmir, Gujarat
Atheists - Chechnya, Afghanistan, East Turkestan (by Russia & China)
And I just know about these because it involves the massacre of Muslims. I'm sure that they've engaged in other terrible acts against other people/places, I just don't feel the need to look it up.
Christians killed 600,000 Muslims In Iraq? Lol right.... Who were these Christians?
How often in the past few hundred years have you heard so called "radical christians" do anything of the sort? They don't. It's Muslims doing it.
You don't have to be a mind reader. It's obvious they didn't want to be caught, or else they'd strap the bombs and do the usual "allah akbar" routine that happens so often in the middle east.
Are you some sort of terror apologist, or do you just hate to admit that maybe it's the religion making them do this? Because I'll admit that religion has caused Christians to do horrible things, but if you're denying that Islam wasn't a factor here, then I'm just going to giggle it off.
Small potatoes. Very small.
No, they just defend the killing of Muslims because they think that killing cows to eat is inhumane. LOL @ the irony. Oh God.Plus, in Burma religion is mostly a proxy for ethnic divides. Its not like Buddhists are tossing bombs yelling "Buddha is Great!!!"
.
Still sounds like its mainly about clashing ethnic groups. The religious motivation seems a pretty thin veneer.Right, because being the most persecuted/oppressed minority according to the U.N. is just a slight bother. No biggie.
Tell that to these people:
"It would be easy to disregard Wirathu as a misinformed monk with militant views, were it not for his popularity. Presiding over some 2,500 monks at this respected monastery, Wirathu has thousands of followers on Facebook and his YouTube videos have been watched tens of thousands of times."
"Since his release, Wirathu has gone back to preaching hate. Many believe his words inspired the fighting last June between Buddhists and ethnic Rohingya Muslims in Rakhine state, where 200 people were killed and more than 100,000 displaced."

Wait..... What???....And Timothy MCveigh(I still think he was a Muslim though).....
Wait..... What???
.
Thats completely nutball. He was a veteran in a war that was in the middle east. He comes back, and decides to carry out an attack. I don't think it's a bad idea to guess that maybe he made some friends back in the middle east.
Thats completely nutball.
.
The amount of conversions to Islam among service members is minuscule.
.
But the amount of anti govt mistrust, paranoia, and hate back home is pretty significant.
.
The reasoning fails. So you need actual evidence to make your case. There is none.
.
Possible? Yes.Evidence for what? I'm not saying it's 100% true. I'm just saying that it could be. Minuscule or not, it's possible. Not that it matters though. Everyone thinks everything is a conspiracy.
JESUS was anti-war, anti-killing, anti-weapons, and anti-violence, He, who is God, stated, "Those who wield the sword, die by the sword" and "No more of this!" to Peter who cut off a man's ear, who Jesus than healed. Did Jesus harm or kill anyone? Answer: NO. He NEVER harmed or killed ANYONE. He said "Do not kill" three times in Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and also "You have heard in the old times, those who kill another will face judgement." HE is who is to be followed, the PERFECT, sinless example given to us to emulate. And just in the past decade, Christians (and others) have helped to kill ~ 600,000 people in Iraq alone. Jesus was against killing of all kinds. JESUS, who is GOD, was ANTI-violence. Jesus, God as a theophany, is given as an example to follow, a PERFECT, SINLESS example. No one comes close to this example.I would be shocked if any other group besides Christians yelled "For Jesus!!!" and killed Muslims and others in the Holy Land, wouldn't you?
1) Buddhists have texts in their scriptures which rationalizes (rationalizes, NEVER justify, killing, taking the life of another human being, is NEVER justified, in ANY circumstance!) killing others, e.g., Buddha murders (though killing is ALWAYS murder, in ANY circumstance) several Brahmin in his past lives, also Buddha killed a thief as a supposed "compassionate killing" in his past life. These are the texts referred to for killing in Buddhism.Because you're a mind reader, right? And you KNOW what a person's intentions are.

The largest IMO message, though, which is anti-killing and anti-violence is John 8:1-11, where Jesus saves a woman from stoning by the Pharisees and scribes who were going to kill her (stone her to death) for adultery. He states "The one without sin may throw the first stone" and faced with their consciousness (NO ONE except God is without sin!), they all walked away, leaving her in the midst. Jesus saved her life.
Further, John the Baptist in Luke states before he baptizes Jesus in the river, "Do NO violence to any man" to the soldiers. This "Do NO violence" as ALL of Jesus's (God's) commandments apply to ALL.
When those people are doing that, they are NOT putting Jesus central, CHRISTianity puts JESUS central, hence CHRIST in the name. With Jesus not central, maybe they are ____ianity, but they cannot be CHRISTianity, with JESUS central.

He even stated, "You have heard before, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, but I tell you, when you face evil, turn the other cheek." JESUS, WHO IS GOD, "I AM the father," stated FOLLOW ME, 23 times and "If you love me, you will follow my commandments" and "Those who do not follow me, are not worthy of me."
JESUS would be against this killing.

2)Hindus have killing in their texts and scripture also, e.g., Shiva kills people and threatens them. Shiva is VERY important in Hinduism.
3)Atheists may take random people or other people's words for their own to follow, so these would be their texts. Though what they take is unknown exactly as there is a large variety. They may "make it up" as they go.
4) CHRISTianity, with JESUS central, hence the term CHRIST in the name, could not in ANY sense, rationalize killing because JESUS was 10000% against it in ALL circumstances. Jesus COMMANDED His followers to NOT kill or harm ANYONE. He states, "John was more than a prophet" (John the baptist), so that means John's statement, "DO NO VIOLENCE" carries even more weight than before, further, it matches Jesus's commandments and example, which is VERY important. JESUS, WHO IS GOD, WHO NEVER HARMED OR KILLED ANYONE, was ANTI-VIOLENCE, ANTI-KILLING, and ANTI-WEAPONS, and ANTI-WAR
