  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It has been a long time since I have posted on here... almost a year, what can I say, school happens? Anyway, I am a rower, and this past weekend I was in Philadelphia Pennsylvania for the Dad Vail. Dad Vails is a huge national regatta with hundreds of schools and thousands of rowers. As I am sure many of you have read in the newspaper or heard on the news, a rower from Boston College died after his boat won the lightweight compotition. I was there, and let me say this is one of the toughest things I have ever had to deal with in my short life. The reason I am posting is to ask you guys to pray for Scott's family, friends, teammates, coach, and everyone who was there. As tough as this is to accept I am starting to see God use it for His Glory.

PS: Scott is the rower who died

Lord please be with Scott and watch over his family. Hoping that he was a Christian and that he is in eternal heaven with you, the best place possible to be. Help Wypadek to use you as an example of Your Glory as well as Your Love and care. In thy name amen.
