Race: Minotaur
Age: (while I'm not sure how minotaurs age... let's say about) 23
Height: 7'4''
Weight: (I'm terrible at guessing weight, so let's just leave at the fact that he's a big, burly minotaur)
Physical description: Borrek's fur is short and jet black, a bit shaggy around his forearms and chest, with a gray blotch here and there. The only sign of order to it is the ratty braid he put in his beard.
Borrek's left horn is slightly stained red, from the blood of and elven captain he gored in a fortunate yet daring twist of a battle. This is the inspiration for his surname, in fact.
History: Borrek has lived the simple life of a warrior in a minotaur tribe. He learned to hunt at an early age, and first began practicing combat against the beasts of the field, like most of his brethren. Shortly after his initiation into the ranks of his tribe's warriors, he succeeded in goring an Elven captain during a raid on his village. It was mostly a stroke of luck, but that didn't change the fact that he'd been wrestling a corpse off of his horn when the battle was over.
This was one of the only significant events in his history. Aside from this, he's lived a normal life, with a couple girlfriends throughout the years, his fair share of raids and hunts, and the day to day struggle for survival.
That is, until the day that another group of minotaurs came to visit his village. They arrived bearing gifts, as anyone who came in peace and had a shred of respect would do. They were warmly greeted, but the primitive tribe remained leery of their strange clothes and accents.
It turned out that these minotaurs were the "civilized" sort that lived among Elves and Humans. He was disdainful of them at first as he watched them meet with the chieftain from afar, but the Huntmaster approached Borrek with a proposition. He proposed that young Borrek go back with the minotaurs, who had voiced their intent of inviting tribal minotaurs back to see civilization and open the doors to peace and diplomacy. Borrek had a reputation as a young bull with promise, even though promise and the stroke of luck were all he had compared to the powerful, mighty old warriors who overshadowed him. Borrek would not be needed, but could very well benefit his tribe, so he agreed that it would be wise.
And so he's gone to "civilized" territory, slowly learning the annoying language that was spoken by most of the weaker races; their enemies, in many cases. He's trying to remain peaceful, but Borrek also remains vigilant for any secret about his enemies that he can learn, or powerful tool he can bring back to his tribe.
Clothing and weaponry:
Borrek dresses in a simple leather loincloth and a vest that serves as his only armor. He wields a heavy stone great-club(maul) and a sling as his only weapons, but is quite proficient with and without his weapons.
Miscellaneous:
Borrek has knowledge of healing herbs and hunting from his time living off of the land, as all members of his tribe do. He knows what parts of the earth are to be considered its gifts to the creatures that walk it, and has respect for nature. He'll not kill a beast without need for food, but will usually not hesitate to beat down a humanoid, whom his kind deem to be extranatural.
