Alex, the Church does not take its truth from the Old Testament ---only about the Creator, Creation principles, history, prophecy concerning Israel, some types, and foreshadows of what was to come. Israelites were not part of the Bride of Christ --the Church.

15.In that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them,
16.on the day when, according to my gospel, GOD will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.

How many people do not have the Bible translated into their own language?

If they don't have a Bible, how are they ever going to be able to hear about God and Jesus, based on the information from your post?

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough as to why I asked these questions. The reason I asked them was that you said that you and Emmy believed that 'the righteousness first comes from the knowledge and understanding of the Word of GOD (the Bible)'. I asked the questions because there are many people in the world who do not have Bibles in their own languages. Many of them would be illiterate even if they had a Bible. How can they have a knowledge and understanding of the Bible if they do not have access to Bibles?

Now would you please tell me about how many people today do not have access to a Bible in their own language so that they can read it and gain the knowledge and understanding to obtain this righteousness about which you speak?

How many people in the world are illiterate so that, even if they did have a Bible, they could not read it?

That is not what 2 Timothy 3:16-17 affirms:

All Scripture is breathed out by God [theopneustos]and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work (ESV).

When this was originally written, 'all Scripture' referred to the Old Testament - the entire OT. So all of the OT is profitable for 'teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness' so that God's people will 'be competent, equipped for every good work'.

What you're saying is true. Christians should be following Jesus, not Joshua.
