It was with much sorrow that I seen the Philadelphian age die away in my lifetime. In it were wonderful Baptist conferences, wonderful Catholic church services, and spiritual Pentecostal revivals, in which I attended. I believe...
1. The Philadelphian church - Was a rural one
2. The Laodicean church - Is an urban one
I say! Much of the places I put up hay are now schools and places of business. I was in much sorrow with this and on a trip to my mothers Assembly of God church I heard two ladies say the Spirit said that in the last days the people were going to have to, "Cut their own paths." And that stuck with me as they were words I needed to hear.
It became obvious to me that old things were dying away and new realities were setting in. I went on and got two associate degrees, moved up to lab technician, make over $50,000 a year, and do well financially. I feel it is important to stay busy and set goals. Also whatever I can do in ministry is a bonus. I also do not feel that reading and playing video games is not a bad thing to do, as long as you keep balance in your lifestyle.
Your posts have greatly improved these days.
Yes it is good to set a goal. I actually work on weekends. Not even a time to be bored!
