CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

At the moment we have a yob culture. It seems that the most popular thing to do now is get drunk and go clubbing. Its quite sad.

Some Kind of Strange
Well, any good desire is of God, really. I mean, if you have a desire to be educated, or to teach children, or to go to China, or whatever, I believe it's of God because He ultimately created everything. So, just because you aren't sure where God wants you to be in X amount of time doesn't mean you don't know of ANY desires that He's put in your heart. Sorry if I'm getting too deep. I've been pretty pensive lately.

Now that is a hard question.....erm.....I would like to be able to do both but no I have to choose, don't I?
Running at the speed of light would be good because then I won't be late for college.
But I guess I would choose the ability to turn invisible because I would be able to go into Buckingham Palace. lol
