Book Recommendation

Hey,

I've been reading a book lately that I would like to recommend.

It is titled "Fool's Gold" by John MacArthur.

It's about practicing discernment in our culture today. A skill that I dare say has gotten badly out of use....

I am adding this to my list of reads.

Can I ask a question, I see a brief reference to the 'Purpose Driven Life'. Did he say much on that in the book? Our church did a series on it and I was left with some uneasiness like something was wrong with it but I was never able to put my finger on it so I just stopped going to the small group.

Yep, there is a chapter devoted to the PDL. It's not written by MacArthur though. (He's the general editor and did not write all the chapters.)

Basically, it addresses some issues with the book without calling it outright heresy.
