  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is the most psychedelic tv show I've ever seen. I can only imagine how many drugs must have been coursing through the collective bloodstream of this show's development team during its production...

lol-I know what sound you are talking about! :D I was in tears laughing so hard in Wal-Mart the first time I came across these "things" and I had them all going, making their noises and doing that dance! Some guy came up behind me and wanted to know what was so funny. He didn't think there were as comical as I did.....

My son loves Boobah. So I getto watch it more than I like. Now we have teh new "Snowman" video so we can watch it all the livelong day.

The bubble blower certainly did remind me of a bong. Thanks goodness a kid wouldn't know the difference.

Ever seen the one with Grandpapa and Little Dog Fido and the two squashy armchairs? That episode cracked me up.

Today I watched Boohbah with my son and did the Boohbah dances with him. I actually got short of breath. But my son is taking a goooood nap now. :)

BTW, the creators of Boohbah are the people behind Teletubbies. Small wonder, eh?

I have seen the boobahs...I turned it over to there by accident one day...cause I will admit I am an arthur fan...and the boobahs were on...well this sounds crazy I know..but, my smallest cat went crazy over it...he was attached to the tv couldnt take his eyes off of it..guess it was the movement and he went nuts for those sounds. I ended up showing the boobahs to my husband on the computer off their website and it has there sounds on their too...hes just praying our child will not be a boobah fan..says the noises would drive him nuts.

:sigh: We don't do boobahs here. My daughter wanted to watch it and after I saw the content of the show (not very educational) I refuse to let her watch it. Plus those colors would give me a mad headache

Booooooooooooooooooooo Bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

:D

LOL - I had to explain what BooBah was to the youth group today when my pastor's kids brought an ad from one of the local stores that has a sale on one of the BooBah toys that's out (not the dancing one). Scary I could do that! :D

Seriously, these things are terrifying. It's...disquieting.
LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY!!! I've gotta hear one of the toys. I've seen them but haven't had a chance to poke at one yet.

The day I saw it a little girl was doing this waddle walk in a colorful swirl circle thingy. I kept waiting for it to end, but I believe it was at least 5 minutes long.

That's a long time for me to stare at those colors. I used to suffer from migraines and I'm not being funny when I say, those colors seem like they'd trigger one.

My god-daughter and her folks were visiting the other night; as another friend and I were making some noisy soundscapes in our little electronic music studio, she decided to get up on the microphone. What should come out of her mouth? "Boooooo-Bahhhhhh...." We recorded the whole thing-- she was "freestyling" for about 20 minutes-- and it sounds pretty creepy, especially since there was a bunch of reverb and delay on the microphone... :D
