Body Count in Iraq

I have seen people citing body counts as high as 1 million dead in Iraq. However, I cannot ever get anyone to cite a source for that. The sources that I have seen were all terrorist funded media.

The most accurate and unbiased figure that I can find is around 100K, and while that is still way, way too many people, it is not 1 million either.

Do any of us know the actual body count? Are we falling prey to terrorist propaganda or worse partisan manuevering?
