  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Did anyone watch this show when they were younger?
yep, everyday before school.

Anyway, I saw an interview with Howie Mandel the other night, and he said that it is coming back!!

That's not a good thing. This isn't 1994. The New Bobby's World will be a mid-00's show, not a mid-90's one.

I watched that show everyday when I was a kid too. I grew up in Minnesota, so Bobby's mom was really funny to me.

My favorite part, that always sticks out to me, is where Bobby's uncle is coaching Bobby's t-ball team, and one of the kids gets hurt and Bobby's uncle says "Walk it off!" Then Bobby imagines his uncle telling all these people with different ailments to 'walk it off.'

"Broken leg? Walk it off."
"Heart attack? Walk it off."
Pregnant? Walk it off."

That last line always made me fall down laughing. I would think about it randomly a day or two after that episode and just bust up laughing.

It was a great show, but if it does come back, I hope it's just reruns of the orginal show, and not some remake. That would make me so sad!

Kind of like the show "Life with Louie." You just can't remake shows like that.
