CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This actually sounds more like a still-active thread called A Gifted Teen's Story (I'm not in this RPG, but I've followed it.) It sounds interesting, though, so I'll post my character later. (I just don't put them in the Character forums often, though.)

Name: Okami Dithers
Age: 15
Personality: A natural born animal lover with intence sympathy and sensitivity toward them. She's a people person and very bold when she meets people. Doesn't like fighting if she can avoid it. Friendly, kind, gets irritated at silly arguments. Talented piantist that plays for fun and to relax.
History: She lead a relatively normal life until her powers started surfacing. People - friends, family, the people around her - started rejecting her. She felt intense sadness and betrayal and fell into a depression. She was jolted out of her depression when she overheard someone's thaughts about an institutional school for people like her, so she decided to check it out. Liking it, she enrolled and moved into the dorms. She finally felt accepted once more!
Powers: Understands animals, Mind reader (this can, when she learns control, extend to invisible waves of energy that can overwhelm her opponents)
Appearance: Blonde hair (usually in a pony tail), blue eyes wearing bold, black intellegent glasses. She usually wears a skirt (and with curvy hips it usually looks good on her.) She usually wears her favorite color (purple) in her jewelery and accessories.
If anyone needs a room mate, I'd be willing.

quite productive, i had the oppertunity to repair some old pews in a deaf church. and had some fun going through Burban Street, seeing the sights, and just goofing off with my crazy friends.
