CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes. Can't say I have a fav. Got Tokaido recently. That's quite different than other rpg board games. Clever and fun.

Oh gosh, I missed playing board games with my family. Now, they're too busy with other stuff and it seems like no one wants to play anymore. I remember my favorite was Monopoly and Sorry. Had some good times back then.

We used to have family game night every Friday when we were kids 
I think the most played game was Trouble. Parcheesi, Life, Clue, and Yahtzee were also popular.
My brother and I would also play chess together a lot. And we have this old Star Wars board game that we found and played multiple times this past New Year's Eve. We used to play that all the time too so that was a nice trip down memory lane

I liked playing RISK. I still play it on occasions. my friends and i sometimes gather for an evening of fun and play a round of Risk.

Yeah, risk is a lot of fun. but I don't play very often. Its good to play with more than 2 people. Chess is a good game to play as well. i enjoy playing chess, but its only for two people.
