• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private.   • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have noticed that some people here have lots of blessings, i mean a lot. Numbers like 23, 500 or 28, 567 blessings. I always like to bless people who are starting here with blessings tho i dont have much blessings myself. But it feels good to bless people, im not writing this because i want blessings. My point is ....lets bless others so they can feel support from us. Lets share a little, it feels good to share. Im saying this in love. Hugs...

I say let the blessings flow. :clap:

I have received tons of blessings it is nice to receive and it is nice to give away. Though I suspect that many richly blessed will find it hard to pass their blessings on, it often goes like that.

Actually, someone else blessed me with 10,000 blessings a while back and I just didn't use them. Thanks, though. :)

Great gesture!
It can have negative consequences though and that is that a new member may soon leave CF - I gave heaps of blessings once to a new member, she wrote one or two posts and never came back after that.

True. But at least you and I both tried, and if new members end up leaving, then oh, well. That's their issue, not ours.
