Suzy sounds like my mother, lately she doesn't know how to just sit and talk, she thinks she's got to yell.. I hadn't talked to her today and I didn't show up for the shower.

going quiet some times is the best policy...

You had to choose between families? That's a tough one. You can't be 2 places at once. I would have probably chose the baby shower. Family dinners usually come around frequently, but a baby shower is only once.

I tried to be in 2 places at once of almost 30 years.. and it is not fun to juggle that..
