I believe that Mother Teresa was an amazing example of the pure in heart. She took care of the sick and dying (represented by the nurses hat) and the orphans (represented by the baby) of India (represented by the sari). I was honored to have visited her orphanage in Calcuatta, India and was overwhelmed by the presence of the Lord there...the peace and love there was palpable.

I am ready for my screen shot

When i think of PEACE i think of St. Francis of Assisi! He was a lover of animals and gave his life as a Servant to God. The following was written by him and is such a beautiful prayer!

Prayer of St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
