"Bless Our Hubby Club"

I blessed my hubby this weekend by not being too uncomfortable about being at home on Saturday without a car so he and his best friend that he hasnt seen in a long while could go play golf...I was very nice and polite, wishing them a good time.

In turn I got a call to go out to lunch with my mom, we had a nice time and she also kept my son about an hour so I could get some housework done.

To sum it all up I had a clean home for my hubby and his friend to come home to plus a nice meal that they both was very appreciative of! His friend said you done the housework and cooked too! Hubby was beaming!

I know what his nice traits are. I put on a very had exterior though. In my heart and my head are very nice thoughts about him. Sometimes I let them get clouded with my heavy emotions though.

I blessed him last night by going away when I was really angry and praying to the Lord until I had worked through the anger to what was really happening for me then going back to my Husband and talking to him rationally. The result was lovely, he was really sensitive towards me, and the rest of the evening went off with a bang.

Dinner was okay but not great. Well, the food, that is. It was nice to have all four of us around the table again. I'm afraid it won't happen again until Thursday.

I blessed my hubby yesterday when I went over to him as he lay on the couch and bent over to whisper in his ear...."are you gonna drink pepsi with dinner?" He looked surprised because usually I am stressed and just trying to get dinner done and over with and hurrying around like a crazy woman

.....I really didnt think about doing that it just sorta came to me and I responded and am glad I did because it sure makes him more responsive as well!

Lord, bless and minister to all the ladies that so want to bless their hubbies, cause us to posses all the fruits of the spirit and as we walk in the spirit we wont fulfill the lust of the flesh, cause us to be the wives you've called us to be....for our desire to be for him to bless him and submit to him as king of our house and in return we will get blessed ourselves, all for the Glory of You God!

Sometimes we forget that something that seems so small to us can mean so much to him!

Sometimes we forget that something that seems so small to us can mean so much to him!

How very true. And the same goes for us gals. The most unexpected thing can make us so very happy.

Isn't it strange that we allow the negative things to jump up and bite us right on the end of our noses?
It seems to take so much more effort to see and grab the positive ones.

Many years ago, I went through a class called "Phylosophy of Christian Womanhood". It was 100% scriptural. It was one of the best teachings I have ever gone through.

I remember one excercise was to spend "one positive day" with our husbands. We were to look for only good positive things in him, say only, yes that is what I said, SAY ONLY , positive things to him, shut out all but positive thoughts. It was one of the hardest days I have ever spent. It took absolute discipline. We were reminded that the word diciple comes directly from the word discipline.
By the end of the day, God was really truly blessing us. My hubby was almost glowing in my eyes.

Isn't it strange, that this would be so hard to do when we love our men so much?

I was thinking more along the lines of that it bites us in the hiney like it did for me today!!!! We were doing so good and then from out of nowhere came an attitude and I couldnt control it ....ARGH...(and mind you this happens on the hills of him commenting how happy he's noticed I've been)I cant stand when that happens but I do thank God Almighty that he allowed us to calm down and talk about it and come to the resolustion that I'm not sure what or why or even when but that I am sorry and then we moved on into the evening...and PRAISE GOD TOMORROW IS A NEW DAY

He is blessing me today- he has just gone to get a curtain pole, to fix up in the hallway, so we won't have draughts this winter.

Here is how I have blessed him this week. I have a fabulous frock, comfy, warm baggy and snuggly, which he calls my 'mu-mu'. He hates it with a passion. So I have decided not to wear it when he is around.

As soon as my beloved hits the road on his journeys I ask Jesus to keep him safe and bring him home. He is usually out at 3 am.

He he! I want in too! What a rockin' club! I am a very new newlywed {Married 7 wonderful months this Thursday!}, and I may be the youngest one in here, but I have been so blessed with my hubby! I figure now is always the best time to learn how to bless him and serve him and appreciate him more and more every day!

He is kind and sensitive, thoughtful and considerate, always offering help even when I don't ask for it! He is so handy and helpful around the house, he likes to help decorate {He is an artist, so he likes these kinds of things!} and go shopping with me! He LOVES to cook for me! Yet he is so manly and strong! He is wonderful man who fears the Lord and stands up for what he believes in. He does his best to be a strong spiritual leader in our home. It's like a dream! He blesses me in so many ways!

Today I am going to bless him by doing the laundry and the dishes and cleaning up our apartment! Ha ha! It may sound silly, but I'm new at the whole homemaking thing!
