Bleeding Gums

So I was making lunch and I got this horrible taste in my mouth. Thinking nothing of it, I try to ignore it. Gets worse so I go to brush my teeth and they are covered in blood.

How much bleeding is normal? I know bleeding gums is normal but this seems like a lot of blood.

Should I call my dentist Monday? I had to get a new one and I don't see him/her the first time until June second.

You should probably contact your dentist, excessive bleeding is not good.

My gums do bleed occasionaly but it's only when I've brushed my teeth too hard.

Call my OB's office as my Dentist isn't open. The nurse was concerned enough to have a doctor call me, who ended up getting in contact with my OB. He thinks I have "pregnancy gingivitis" so I'm supposed to brush after every meal, not use mouth wash and stay away from fruit juice....until I can see my dentist which isn't for another three weeks.
