Good thing I got a jump on things for the holidays. I woke up buggy with a dry throat and tight chest. I still went out of town to help mom but I wore a mask the whole time. Had my flu shot already so bummer! Please pray it passes quickly!

There's definitely a bug going around. I caught something but I'm just working through it. My coworker has one too. Get some rest and take it easy my friend!

Wow this has never happened before but my nose is swollen on the left side, it almost looks deformed. Like asymmetrical. And there's a not-insignificant amount of blood when I blow my nose. That's probably cause I just spent three weeks back home in CA where the air is a lot drier.

Wow this has never happened before but my nose is swollen on the left side, it almost looks deformed. Like asymmetrical. And there's a not-insignificant amount of blood when I blow my nose. That's probably cause I just spent three weeks back home in CA where the air is a lot drier.

That’s weird! Almost sounds like an infection. I’m still without a voice. Been sleeping most of the day.

I thought so too, although I'm not sure how cause I never got a cut or anything. Although the blood would suggest there's a rupture somewhere maybe in my sinuses, but I don't know how that would lead to the tip of my nose swelling. Weird!

Glad you're resting. I know about a half dozen others who are sick as well including myself. We all need to take it easy this weekend.

Sinuses are a weird network where anything could happen. I know my husband has dealt with sinus infections in the past. It amazing the effect sinuses can have on the body when they go awry.

I’m starting to think I have step throat with some sort of respiratory thing, it hurts to swallow. Voice still gone. I’m thinking since it’s the weekend I may have to go into the walk-in clinic to get some antibiotics if it does not improve. It just feels like it’s settling in more than anything. I’m just miserable.

Take care and prayers. Someone from my church was sick and coughing for nine weeks and finally came down with pneumonia(about my age, healthy) They tested her for Covid 3 times(negative)influenza(negative)and strep throat(negative). Weak, felt like crap she says. I think it may have been RSV which they didn't test for. She's finally healed up and better. There's a lot of crap going around. I've been healthy this year(knock on wood)was sick a lot last year.

Well I was so miserable today I was bawling like a baby. I decided to go to the clinic today and wait till they opened. I got in and was shocked to learn that I have Covid! I’m on an anti-viral where I take 4 pills twice a day for 5 days. Plus lots of fluids, rest, and vitamins C and D. I’ve been vaccinated 3 times btw... but they said it was good that I did because it could of been a lot worse. I can’t imagine!
