Hubbykins of 16 years has requested I get up at 3 AM with him on his work days to make him breakfast. I'm cool with it. Our kids are older and I've been a housewife 99.8% of our marriage not counting a part-time online job. No prob. I did warn him it wouldn't be pretty. Didn't have the courage to get my hair in the shot.
He has been eating his breakfast without complaint despite the "setting." Good man.
Also, I made a boast this morning concerning his eggs saying, "Look perfectly round and cute."
The kind man paused awkwardly thinking I was referring myself for a moment being "perfectly round and cute."
We had a good laugh! Nothing like a fun bit of marital miscommunication!
