  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Some of you may know of my dog: Biskitts

Some of you may know that I recently moved in with some friends who had a little baby and had to give him away to be looked after until I moved out of here.

Well, the 'friend' I gave him to, who always bought him treats and said how much she loved him, did something terrible, I found out from a her ex-BF that she'd gone away to a concert and he'd spent the night barking. The neighbours thought something had happened to her and called the police, who broke the door down, they found the place in a mess, and he'd been neglected. Biskitts got taken away from her and I believe taken to The RSPCA who after a week if he's not taken put him down, I can't find out what happened to him, but then again maybe thats for the best as I can picture him in a big family and not the other.

The 'friend' is getting proscuted for animal neglect.

To be honest, I shouldda known better and not moved in here.

I used to miss my old dog something rotten and now its much worse.

Emm.. I'm sorry to hear that happened. Maybe you could have a family member take your dog? untill you can move out or something?
If not, then I"m sure somene will take him. And the people who adopt dogs and such, are usually glad to get a dog, and take great care of them. (I had to give my doggie away awhile back)
God bless

I am so sorry :(

are there any other friends or maybe co workers you could ask?

I'm not sure about in the UK, but in Canada we have groups that organize foster homes for dogs and a family will take them in and give them a home until a permanent family can be found. If you could get in touch with one of these groups and explain your situation, I'm sure you'd have no problem finding a place for your little guy for the time being.
