Cancer is a rotten way to die. Sixty-three is too young (seeing as I'm close to sixty-seven).

I was just reading about him and the controversies in his life. From the totality of what I read, I'm not ready to condemn him. Happily, that's not my department anyway! He claimed to be with Christ and the Lord will know.

God is still in charge, and God knows what to do. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Praying that God's inexplicable mercy and grace superseded all things, and that God was able to snatch this man's outreached hand at his last breath as God extended His. Praying for his family and loved ones and all who knew and cared about Bishop Eddie Lee Long at this most tragic time of loss.

I understand when more well known people die, it will be reported in the media (sometimes non stop) and this will never change, because it is news.

There are people dying every minute of everyday though and I can't help think of that, when certain deaths are heavily focused on.
