Birthday Prayer

Father, there are 5 celebrating birthdays here today that I know of. A Birthday denotes a new beginning. For Christians, a new year filled with promise and opportunity for service.

So today we give You thanks for this new beginning, and for the lives of those celebrating. May this be the year they bring more Glory to You than in all the previous years of thier lives combined.

Grant in the Sweet Name of Jesus, that this is the most effective and productive fruit bearing year of thier life for Your Glory and Honor. Amen.

And Father, we give you thanks for all the years that are passed, for all the knowledge and wisdom earned and gathered during that time, for the salvation that was accepted, and the relationships with you that have and are still being built.

Lord bless the birthday boys and girls today with an extra special blessing, showing them your love.
