  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

We're getting our soon to be 3 year old a bounce house. My oldest is 5 and she's still small enough to play in it, too. They jump on my beds all the time and have been begging for a trampoline, but I'm too paranoid to get them one, yet. I have nightmares about them breaking their necks. So, this is a good alternative for a few years anyway. :)

But, yes, last year, we bought them an inflatable pool (we only fill it up with about 6 inches of water and supervise them constantly) and they loved it (they were 2 and 4 at the time) and can't wait for the weather to warm up again. That would be a good idea, too.

Also last year they got a sandbox and they really loved that, too. It was plastic and had a cover so we didn't have to worry about it getting soggy when it rained. We filled it with play sand which is cleaner and softer than real sand (you can also by different colors of sand which would have been kind of neat), though it is more difficult to make sand castles out of it. But they had a ball with that, too.

Can you see the trend of outdoor toys? :)

Love, Heather
