Here is a wierd dream I had recently and love your insight please?


As I was standing in my garden the wind got stronger and my dress was
sucked off me. Suddenly a large bird flew down (it was about the size
of a duck) ,then more followed (10 or more) all were exactly the same as
the first bird. I have never seen birds like them, the colours were very
vivid. On the breast was a distinct pattern. The colours on the birds
were yellow, emerald green, red and remember the wings were black, but
may have had some other color . I ran to get my son and as he got close
to where they were the dream ended.

Was this last night? Its strange, i also had a dream of birds last night. But i cant quite remember what it was about.

Are you being exposed to anything new from the spiritual realm at the moment? For example, new people praying for you, new teaching, or some kind of signs or wonders, or alternate therapies.

It may seem interesting but perhaps involves a mixed spiritual influence.

If this is the case test what you are hearing against the Word of God, and look at the fruit coming from any new people in your life. Is there order & harmony in their relationships or regular conflict?

A mixed spiritual influence will often involve some exhortation to "works"- things to do to earn God's favour or blessing, or encouragement to live based on a pattern of behaviour (eg do x & y will happen) rather than a dynamic relationship with Jesus.

I have heard so many people with bird dreams this winter!
This might not be of any help, but I had one with those colors, and some Mayan referencing in December. In fact, the dream played out almost the same as yours did, where I ran to get someone else so they could see the vivid colors in the narrow time slot.

Birds come and go. They are flighty! Lol.

They can be a treat to see, or an annoyance if they are getting into your garbage or new plantings. We don't spend much time thinking about them, when they only stay for a few minutes.

In your garden -- a place where you plan, invest, tend, and expect return. This might be a church ministry, or the family you care for, or a fruitful endeavor.... a place you nurture and care for, anticipating a good yield.

Wind -- what brings in change. A force outside yourself that is unpredictable and powerful.

Son -- someone you share thoughts with, to whom you have shown the world. You took him to the zoo to learn about exotic animals, you took him to the beach to show him sea shells and crabs. All of this had education mixed in. Now you want to show someone -- not necessarily him -- this exotic sight before it disappears, because you feel blessed to see it. (I assume.) It seems not just wonderment, but a desire for them to learn along with you.

This reminds me of my first years hearing about miracles and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Our friends would share books like they were jewels we found. More recently, people would share about strategic prayer or eschatology, or even a good video, with such excitement that they didn't want anyone to miss it before it flew out of their minds.

Did you feel a sense of danger or healthy caution along with it?

I felt a feeling of healthy caution, but not becuse the birds were in any way trying to hurt me. It's just that it was such a shock to see so many large birds fly down near me and that they looked so striking with the colors and havinb such a distintive pattern on their breast

I'll try. The breast had little motifs dotted all over it . The motifs consisted of two slightly curved rectangles measuring about 1cm long x half a centimeter. One rectangle joined half way down onto the first rectangle and one was a bright yellow, the other was a different color, but can't remember what , just that it was vivid. These were evenly displayed on the breast.

Hope that gives you clear idea of what it looked like.

That's what happened in my dream too, and I asked partially for understanding my own birds -- there was a thrill in the risk, and a willingness to endure a small amount of danger in exchange for the experience.

It seems it could relate to secular experiences too -- new job opportunities, new skills to learn or hobbies. But the wind blew it in -- it wasn't something you initiated.

I had my dream about two weeks before some new things unfolded IRL. In mine, there were phases, shown at different sides of the house. This week I went through a different new angle of the first new experience, similar-- which gave me fresh new perspectives on something I hadn't been aware of. A realization of opportunities that I didn't know existed, or that I hadn't seen as so colorful before.

So maybe something will fly in with the wind for you, too.

I didn't know at the time of the dream what it meant, and still am not certain I am interpreting correctly -- but it was so foreign and unrelated to what I was going through, that it had to be about the future, not the past. So consider that God might be presenting something about to come.

A lot of birds... how will you handle that! God will provide a way where there seems to be no way.

i'm probably way off on this, but i keep having this sense of flag or breastplate or ensign ... as in it represents something ... i googled flags with htose colors ... some interesting ones came up ... ethiopia, but nothing i could say has a curve to it, pers se ... going to check out breastplates ...

Your thread has revived my old dream, and many parts of it became clear to me this week, so thanks for posting! It indirectly revealed how mine had chronological steps, and one stage is on the verge... helped me understand some things going on and about to go on.
