Billy Graham's Regret: 'I Would Have Steered Clear of Politics'

I thought this would be a good story of interest. I like Billy Graham. He is a true man of God.

Although, I know that there is a need for a good Christian influence in politics, I am in agreement with him about steering clear of politics. I have Christian friends and relatives who seem to forget that they are Christians when the news is on. One said that she hopes Bush II burns in _____ and then I have one who STILL sends me emails with 'proof' that Obama is a Muslim with a fake Hawaii birth certificate. Good grief!

Thanks for sharing that. I recently read Graham's book on the Holy Spirit and found it enlightening. I also like reading his wifes notes in my Women's NIV devotional bible. I don't follow much news with Evangelists but he seems interesting and like he did a lot for Christ in this world. As for the politics, I guess it's something that can't always be avoided but that should be restrained when it's right to restrain it.
