I find this version of the "sinner's prayer" on Billy Graham's website:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen."
Do you find this satisfactory in terms of repentance? And if not, why not?
Yes, but he didn't then explain what a sin is.... he does now explain that we are all sinners, but he doesn't still define a sinner as one who breaks God's Law (The Moral Law - 10 Commandments) and has been seperated from Heaven by such.
Also, BG says if you got saved, but didn't know what you were doing, and didn't know if you meant it, your saved, stop questioning it....
I Say, Question your salvation... If your saved your truly saved, but make sure of it.... else you find yourself on the road to Hell....
