I'd say Bill never slipped me a Mickey. If he had, and then had his way with me, well that might be an issue, something to forgive. Jesus never said people therefore should not suffer earthly consequences, and if you actually pay attention to the context, he say's "brother", so this I believe has to do with issues between God's people. Now, is Bill Cosby a Christian? Perhaps someone can establish this, people always questioning Trump for his past, so using the same principal, why would I be inclined to assume Bill is a brother in Christ? Who cares if he attends a Church, that only makes a person religious, or appeasing others, or even creating an impression to others. What would you say?

Yes--forgiveness is great---but we still pay the consequences of our sins. we can forgive a murderer---he still has to pay for his crime. He is paying a very small price for the many times he did this. He is paying for only a very few of the women he assaulted.

Are you saying there is no penalty for doing wrong? If a child molester took your child, raped and killed it--would you agree it is OK, just forgive him and set him free to do it again??--how many children you got for him to go through and each time you forgive and do nothing to stop him? This guy is a serial rapist, just pat him on the back say that's OK and let him to do more of them? If that was your mother he raped, just forgive him in that 70th time for raping her and set him free to do it to someone else's mother?? How do you think this should be handled?
