Workers digging the foundations for the extention of a prison in Northern Isreal have discovered a mosaic floor in an early Christian church which dates back to around 230AD.

The mosaic mentions Jesus Christ as God. This is one of the earliest references to Christ as God outside the bible and shows how the early Christians were not hiding their belief at the time and were acknowledging Christ as God.

This is more evidence for Christ and disputes the claims by historians that the idea of Christ as God was a later elaboration the church had created rather than having any truth that Christ had declared himself as God and was seen as God by early Christians.

Jesus Christ said this in the Gospel of John 8:58, NKJV, referring to Exodus 3:14 where God tells Moses that his name is "I AM". So Jesus Christ is clearly God in the Bible and even in very early inscriptions c. AD 230.

The mosaic is a massively significant unearthing of biblical proportions! Just checked and it is mentioned in major secular newspapers! No one has any excuse I say humbly and with love, to say that Jesus is not Almighty God. A Jehovah's Witness told me when I was a teen that Jesus was God. But later after I attended 4 JW Kingdom Hall services, he told me that Jesus was God but not Almighty God. JWs lied to my face to get me into their Kingdom Hall. JWs even converted the mother of a professor at the renowned evangelical Dallas Theological Seminary. JWs are tenacious. They never, ever give up; they probably inspired Winston Churchill . My neighbors are constantly wondering about the group of 4-5 youth(JWs) banging on my door every month while very noisily laughing it up on my porch. They only come to my place on my street because I think I'm in their databank just from having attended 4 services years ago.

And understand that John 8:58 is purposely mistranslated in the Jehovah's Witness NWT Bible translation because it demolishes their theology that Jesus is a created being: the "unique [but created] son of God." They even identify Jesus as Michael the archangel.

I remember a JW lady telling me, "There is only one Bible verse we cannot explain (because it proves Jesus is Almighty God.)" I think it was John 2:19 when Jesus said he would raise his own body from the dead. They are also extremely troubled by the passage when Steven prayed to Jesus in heaven while he was being stoned in Acts 7:59 ; because one can only pray to Almighty God. Jehovah's Witnesses outright tricked me to get my soul. So be diligent about everything; test all things it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 ; the enemy wants to prevent you from becoming the born of God child that you are called to be! Don't let anything or anyone keep you from being born-again!

It is such an exciting time these days. Slowly but surely the scales are falling off the eyes of not only the scientific, historic, religious communities but society itself. Jesus Christ is true God and true Man. A lot of what science and history held as very very strong and undeniable theories are now being challenged. They are reworking their calculations. God is amazing beyond belief! Amen.
