  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I do not think there is any sort of missing link. Also, I question if a "big foot" existed, when there is just no physical evidence AT ALL. No bones, no evidence of any sort of dwelling place or eating place. Even the birds leave a big mess whereever they go.

There was a time I use to go out for a walk early Sunday morning. Once I went to a park in the Ohio valley call "The Ledges". There in the snow I saw what looked like human footprints, about maybe a size 9 male foot. I wondered why someone would be running bare foot in the snow and I followed them for about a mile or so. Then I saw where they had jumped across from one ledge to another. It was about a 15 foot jump and at least a 50 foot drop to the bottom if they did not make the jump.

Now I know that people can jump up to 26 feet, but I personally do not know of anyone that could have made that 15 foot jump across those ledges. It also put a end to me following the footprints in the snow. It turned out that it was going to warm up that morning and the snow was melting. I was the only person who saw those footprints, as I was the only one there. There was one other person who showed up as I was leaveing. Maybe he was the one who put the bare footprints in the snow. Someone or something had to have done it.

There have been a lot of reports from people who like me, have seen something at this park. Because there is a cave there. But there is no documents, and there is just no proof at all. It could be that there is a human like something living way out in the wilderness. But if there is, they are really good at going undetected and not being seen. Like I said, you would think they would have left something behind. Thanks, JohnR7

That is what my pastor says. He does not care what sort of bones they find, if they are monkey, human or whatever. Adam and Eve were the first to actually have a soul. God could have created human like people, before Adam and Eve, cave men or whatever. But they did not have a soul and the breath of life. There could have been human like males and females. But Adam was the first real man and Eve was the first real women.

No, it's just a myth

Well thanks to everyone who replied. I guess we can put this to rest then. Bigfoot simply doesn't exit right? Ok so why all the fuss about it then? Could this be an attempt by some people to confirm evolution? I understand scientists don't use this of course, but could it be an attempt by laymen to prove evolution?

Just some thoughts.

Have you seen Dr Dino's (Kent Hovind) musings about the loch ness monster, bigfoot, and other monster stories (not to mention demons in UFO's)? He bases many of his YEC "theories" on these stories. Maybe you are right. It certainly is unscientific to try to use these myths and tall tales to support ones postion. I guess that is why scientists don't do it.

What does it matter if God keeps a record of everything you say, think or do, and some day you will have to give an account of your life.

God cares, any true Bible believeing Christian cares.

How can a God of the universe, where everything flows from one point to the next, where everything is in balance and there is always a case and an effect. How can He not be a God of perfect Justice. Where everyone receive in return what they have done onto others, be it good or bad, to build them up or to tear them down. The answer is, because Jesus took our penility upon Himself. He paid the price for our sins and our transgressoions. Just as though one man, Adam, sin came into the world, so through one man, Christ, the price was paid for that sin. So that those who believe can be forgiven and receive eternal life of happyness, peace, love and joy.

Or, you can go to hell and receive what is rightfully due to you, for harming and hurting others. But I think you already have to much of God in you. I think you already know to much to perish in your sins.

Rev. 11:18
And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

I think we got off topic here.

Ok back to the topic. Why would a common un-scientific evolution believer feel that they would need to resort to fraud? I mean they had to of believed science when they were taught about it so why wouldn't they simply use science?

Or am I way off base? :sorry:

But you do seem to be interested to study the world or the universe that He has created. There are a lot of people who surround themselves with man made things and never really pay much attention to the world around us that God has made.

Do you believe every cause has an effect, and that every action has a equal and opposite reaction?

Gives me an idea for a new topic :)

What does this have to do with what I said. But I have no idea off the top of my head.
